Use Carrot Juice for Acne Scars

If you want to use carrot juice on your own acne scars, you will need the following:

  • Several fresh, large carrots (organic please since the juice will be applied on your skin)
  • Juicer
  • Sea salt

Once you have bought your carrots, store them in the refrigerator and wash them with the use of a vegetable brush. You do not want to peel these carrots because the highest concentration of beta-carotene and other vitamins and minerals can be found on the layer closest to the carrot skin. Peel them and you will lose a lot of their healing benefits.

Juice about 4 or 5 carrots and drink them liquid each day when your stomach is still empty. Simply by taking carrot juice day in and day out, you make sure your body gets all the nutrients and vitamins it needs to stay healthy and heal itself. Give this drink a couple of weeks to work and you will surely see and feel the amazing results.

To use the carrot juice for topical application, save enough juice from your juicing and mix it with a teaspoon of sea salt until you have a paste. Massage the paste into the trouble areas which include acne spots and the scars. Rub it in the skin using gentle, circular rubbing motions because rubbing too hard will damage the skin. Once you are done, leave the paste on until it dries and then rinse it off with some warm water and pat it dry. You can use this acne treatment daily since it is really quite gentle. If you have active pimples, all you need to do is take some extra juice and dab it onto the pimples. Try it out for a couple of weeks and you are sure to see an improvement in the appearance of your acne scars and you will notice less frequent breakouts as well.

This carrot juice remedy works wonders but it does pay to get advice from your doctor before you do anything else.
