What is Differin?
Differin/adapalene is a kind of topical cream that is used to treat acne and other skin problems. There are a lot of people who used this medication and the feedbacks are good. This is used to treat mild to moderate cases of acne and it is advised to be used only by people aged twelve years old and above. The standard dosage for differin is once a day after washing the area with water and mild cleanser. It has to run its course with the topical cream.
What Are the Side Effects?

How Adapalene Is Used for Acne Scars?
This antibiotic medicine has a topical cream which is used to cure acne and other skin problems caused by bacteria. It is usually applied to the skin once a day. This topical antibiotic helps acne scars by promoting better healing of the skin. It targets the problem and then it fixes the aftermath. If it is used for other infections, the dosage may be four times a day every six hours depending on the person’s condition. There are 150 mg to 500 mg for oral route.
Taking differin should be under the doctor’s supervision. This is an antibiotic and it should be taken as prescribed. No more and no less. If the person is allergic to this then it is not advisable to take this medicine. There are also other medicines that can interfere with the effects so talk to the doctor about other medicines that you are taking so he/she will know how to prescribe it.

- High precautions are given to people who have severe skin problems and renal and liver impairment. It is important to complete the treatment before stopping to make sure that the cause of the problem is really gone.
- Missed doses are common and if in the events of a missed dose, just take the adapalene when remembered but when it is time to take the next dose then just disregard the missed one, same as with the topical cream for acne.
